About Us
Bridging the Gap Films, is looking to bridge the gap between short films and distribution but also looking to nurture future high potential writers & directors on their road to making their first feature films.
OBJECTIVES
Maximise Exposure for shorter content in an ever-changing content market that is currently poised for shorter content that is easy to watch without having to commit vast amounts of time.
Nurture future filmmakers- In certain cases BTG will be committing to a festival strategy for exceptional film-makers ready shorts and BTG will also be committing to getting their feature project made busing their short film as a business card. In other circumstances some projects will go straight to a VOD platform that will give short film content more exposure which will lead to growth in the market.
Make meaningful content with an array of individuals from all backgrounds.

OMRI COHEN
BIO
Omri Cohen (1989), Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a film producer, distributor and production manager. During his studies, Omri produced and co- produced several short films, award winning web series and feature films. His last film (Not Today. Not Now.), starring Shlomi Elkabetz and Yael Abecassiss, was granted support by the NFCT and the Balvetnik Fund. Currently residing in London UK, Omri works as a producer as well as production manager and Co/Owner of BTG Films, a distribution/production company.
VIKRANT CHOPRA
BIO
Vikrant Chopra (1986) Born in England is a Director/Producer who started working in film at the age of fifteen. Having also studied a BA Hons in film, Vikrant has gone to work on over 80 films in just over two decades.
He directed an anti-sex-trafficking advertisement for a non-profit organisation and made his commercial directorial debut in 2012, directing a music video for a feature film. Later in 2012 he directed and produced a series, The Euro Experience.
In production working his way up from runner to producer and starting again in direction from the bottom to the top.
He has a unique position in the market being a director so educated in production and a man who has commanded mixed crews from the UK, USA, Europe and India.
In recent years he has worked as Co-Producer on South Indian Film ‘Dasara’, as the 2nd Unit producer on Hollywood film ’The Haunting of The Queen Mary’ and the UK Line Producer for Top Chef Season 20.
Vikrant is Co-Owner of BTG Films, a distribution/production company.
